Retreat registration begins at 4pm on Friday and the resort is approximately 1.5 hours (103 miles) away from Bush International Airport. From the airport, you’ll need to rent a car or book an Uber or Lyft. You will also want to check out driving directions on the Venue Page. Houston traffic is unpredictable on Friday, so we recommend flying in as early as possible!
Q: What if I have dietary restrictions? A: The Stella Hotel is able to provide a number of dietary options. Please indicate dietary restrictions on your registration form. We may not be able to meet dietary needs indicated after January 1, 2022 so please plan accordingly.
Q: Can I bring my baby/child? A: Anchored in Hope is a CHILD FREE event! As much as we LOVE littles, this retreat is designed to be a place where moms can find rest and retreat from daily life. We want to ensure that the environment is free of distractions so attendees can connect and commune with God and others. Please no children or infants of any age. No exceptions. Q: What is the retreat theme? A: The theme for the 2022 Anchored in Hope Retreat is GRACE. As believers, we are promised an abundant life. We are only able to do this when we cast our fears on the Lord and release our anxieties and expectations that we hold as both women and mothers. We can do hard things when we recognize and receive GRACE and give it in return. Together we will ponder what it means to accept and receive GRACE, live boldly, walk in freedom, and live an abundant life.
Our theme verses are: For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. John 1:16 ESV
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.Hebrews 4:16
