Meg Martinez - I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Osvaldo, for twenty-five years. I am a mom of two young adults and two teens, and work full-time as an instructional coach in our local school district. Blessed by the love and support of others through our international adoption from Ethiopia, it is my passion and privilege to share Christ's love and hope with other mommas who have grown their families through adoption. I am thankful for butter, Downy wrinkle release spray, and Jesus's saving grace.
Courtney Moore -I've been married to my best friend Daniel for 14 years and we have 3 crazy and awesome kids. Our son, now 9, came to us through the foster care system and we have 2 bio daughters ages 7 and 5. We are currently waiting to bring our son Milo home from China. Our hearts and lives were changed forever when we entered the world of fostering in 2011, and I am passionate about sharing our journey and God's heart for the orphan. I love connecting with other adoptive and foster moms- specifically those with kids that have special needs. When I'm not carpooling my kiddos around to school, therapy and play dates, you can find me with my camera photographing adoptions, families and weddings!
Erika Alman - I am a wife, a mom to three biological daughters and two adopted daughters, and a lover of Jesus and people. Over thirteen years of marriage, my husband, Daniel and I have had thirteen children placed in our home through foster care. I am the cofounder of We Will Speak, a nonprofit that works with aged out foster youth. My passion is starting conversations about needs within the orphan care community and helping every person discover how they can positively impact kids who are so worthy of our work and sacrifice.
Jocelyn Hattenberger - I am an adoptive mom of 4 who has been fostering for 11 years and had 17 amazing children come through my home. I help run a foster and adoptive family closet called The Moses Closet which provides supplies, clothing and welcome baskets to kids coming home for adoption or into the foster system. Once a month, we hold a fellowship group to connect the families we serve through The Moses Closet and offer support and prayer.
Lisa Lackey - My husband, Kyle, and I have been married for 15 years and have two boys, ages 11 and 6. We adopted our youngest from foster care, and through our journey, I fell in love with this amazing foster and adoptive community. I feel like these people are the best kind of people! During the day, I teach 6th grade in The Woodlands. I nerd out about plants, true crime podcasts, and new places to eat.
